Our pets are special members of the family, who show us unconditional love and companionship. I chose to pursue veterinary medicine so I could help people care for their four-legged family members. After completing high school in Toronto, I moved to the beautiful city of Guelph for my undergraduate studies in Animal Biology. As an Aggie, I had the opportunity to volunteer on different types of farms and learn about agriculture in Ontario. After three quick years, I was then accepted to the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program and moved across the street to the Ontario Veterinary College campus. Studying veterinary medicine was a dream come true, and I especially enjoyed learning about companion animal primary care and surgical exercises. While at the OVC, I rescued my own feline family member named Summer. In the spring of 2016 I graduated With Distinction, and shortly after, moved to Hamilton to begin the next phase of my veterinary career.

I have been welcomed as the newest member of the team and I can’t wait to meet you on your next visit to Martindale Animal Clinic.
