I started working at Martindale Animal Clinic as a Veterinary Assistant in August 2016. This is my first experience working at a clinic and I am extremely grateful for all the wonderful, intelligent and caring people I’ve been able to work with, and how much I have learned about the field.

I studied Nutrition and Healthy Lifestyle in college before deciding it wasn’t the right path for me, I remembered my other passion in life has always been animals! Coming in to work every day and seeing all the fury faces never fails to make me smile. I’m so lucky to be able to give a voice to those who need it, and give them the comfort and care they deserve!

I’ve been accepted to University of Guelph – Ridgetown for Veterinary Technology, and start distance courses in the fall. I hope to learn everything I can, and work with more wildlife and exotics as well as small animals.

In my spare time I love to run, play music, and hang out with my band of furry family members. My crew consists of two bunnies, Bonnie and McDuff, two rats, Phillip and Darius, and the newest little addition, a calico kitten named Pele!

I am so proud to be a part of this team!
