Behaviour problems are common.

Behaviour problems are common. Even if you think that you have tried it all, don’t give up; there is help!

More importantly, we are here to help. Many of our pets have behaviour issues. Often these are little quirks that can cause unwanted attention. For example, a dog that always barks at the mailman . Some behaviours are more serious for owners and the pets.

Commonly seen and successfully treated behaviour problems in dogs and cats:

  • Aggression and feartraining
  • Leash Reactivity
  • Noise Phobia
  • Thunderstorm Phobia
  • Urine Marking
  • Separation Anxiety
  • Housetraining Problems
  • Elimination out of the litterbox
  • Compulsive behaviour

Just because a problem is common, doesn’t mean it can’t drive you crazy! We are here to help you. Our behavior care program offers tools and resources and allows our team to work closely with you to resolve problems that can damage a relationship with our pets.

The need for ongoing training is not only for puppies and kittens, but for older pets or new pets that have joined the family. Even a behavior that has been going on for some time can be helped.

Through consults, articles, videos and general support; the Martindale Animal Clinic Veterinarians and Technicians are here. We continue our training and education on health care and behavior modification. Each of our pets are individuals. With this in mind, the Martindale Team will help you with an individual plan that helps fit you and your pet’s needs.

Please feel free to send us an email with any questions you have. A video of the behavior helps us understand the situation best. You can also book an appointment with one of our team members.

Together we can help you continue to provide wonderful care of your pet.

Another site for getting pet care products, for healthier and happier pets is PetCareRx. As a responsible pet owner I would suggest it for everyone who want their pets to be healthy and happy.
