VETERINARIAN
I started working as a veterinarian at Martindale Animal Clinic in January of 2020, and it has been such a pleasure to return to the place that truly feels like home!
I grew up in the Niagara region and worked at Martindale Animal Clinic part time as an assistant as I received my B.Sc from Brock University. I then moved to Guelph to obtain my D.V.M from the Ontario Veterinary College. I graduated in April of 2018 and spent my first year and a half as a new graduate at a clinic in Mississauga seeing every type of pet – cats, dogs, small mammals, birds, and reptiles! My husband and I then made the decision to move back home to the Niagara Region.
I am so excited to be back at Martindale Animal Clinic and working with the veterinarians and staff that inspired me to embark on this career! I have loved meeting all of the wonderful pets and people that have come to the clinic thus far (both in person and via video chat), and I look forward to meeting many more. I have a passion for preventative medicine and nutrition, as well as a keen interest in avian and exotic animal medicine.
When not at the clinic, I love to take my two yorkie crosses, Molly and Teddy, for hikes and walks through the park, as well as spend time with my husband, my African Grey Gracie, and my Quaker parrot Gizmo. I am always looking for a good book to read, and love learning how to cook new meals!
