I graduated the Veterinary Technician program at St. Clair College in 2015 and shortly after acquired my registration. I first came to Martindale Animal Clinic in 2017 as a temporary employee to cover a maternity leave but in a very short period of time I integrated well into the Martindale family, and was offered a permanent position at Martindale Animal Clinic. I enjoy the amount of pride and care that goes into treating all the patients, as well as ensuring our clients are comfortable with their pets’ treatment too. I enjoy providing nursing care for animals, especially those who are staying in hospital for a few days. The Fear Free initiative has been very rewarding for me as well, as it has made a difference in how many patients visits to the clinic have become much less stressful. I have always loved animals and getting to spend time with them every day, help them, and keep them calm and relaxed even in a hospital environment has made working at Martindale Animal Clinic that much more special.

I spend much of my time doing impromptu photoshoots with my two kittens, Edgar and Agatha, or taking my lab mix, Coco, for a walk. My other dog Copper, who is 15 years old, and my diabetic cat Dobby spend most of their time at home relaxing and getting pets. Besides spending time with my pets, I enjoy travelling, enjoying the outdoors, spending time with friends and family and taking afternoon naps.
